European 100 x 100 geodemographic database

The most detailed spatial database of purchasing power in Central Europe

European 100 x 100 is a uniform geodemographic database of the Central European region, allowing for direct comparisons between countries. It contains data in the same structure as the as 100 x 100 product covering Hungary and includes sociodemographic and income data aggregated in a 100 x 100 meter grid.

European 100 x 100 provides the indicators at the highest spatial resolution for the region, significantly surpassing the Inspire GRID’s 1 km2 population data. The sources for the data include open-source data, freely available official data, commercially available official data and other market research indexes, as well as other secondary data.

European 100 x 100 contains detailed demographic data, purchasing power and other specialized indexes for the following countries: Austria, Czechia, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Data sources

The data come from openly available official data, official data available for purchase, as well as other open source data, commercially available data and secondary sources. This is complemented by GeoX’s own calculations. Unique and innovative datasets have been used including earth observation data from the Sentinel 2 satellite.

Format

The database can be used in multiple formats. The database contains map objects which allows for map-based analysis and visualization. This however is not a prerequisite to perform analysis as the database can be connected to address data as well, thus allowing for analysis without the use of GIS software. 

The database has been optimized for machine reading and is an ideal starting point for AI enhanced analysis.

Pricing of 100×100 database varies on data depth and territory covered of the data requested. The data is available for each country or cities individually and pricing depends on the size of the requested area.
Data can also be bought in bundles, covering specific settlement types or larger territorial units.
